Located on the island's scenic South Shore, the excursion takes you through 22,000 acres of private dirt roads and trails. This is the state's longest off-road adventure tour. Enjoy breathtaking mountain and coastal views, unspoiled tropical landscapes on private land and a half-mile tunnel bore, entirely through stone.
Listen to the knowledgeable guides tell of Kauai's fascinating cultural history and the unique ecosystem that thrives on the island's verdant surface. You will visit movie sites like Jurassic Park, Jurassic World, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Thornbirds and many more. You also will visit military bunkers and historical Hawaiian sites.
This four-hour tour takes you to a secluded, cascading waterfall, one of which is where you'll picnic on local Kauai snacks and beverages. You'll be able to swim in a cool, reflective mountain pool at the base of the waterfall, before heading back to civilization. Be sure to bring your swimsuit, towel, sunblock and water-friendly footwear.
The Star Na Pali Dinner Sunset Sail is the premier 'dinner with a view' experience. Sunsets at sea, viewed from Southern Star or the Northern Star, are spectacular! Passengers will enjoy a panoramic view of the entire coastline from Haena to Milolii, with the 'forbidden' island if Ni'hau in the distance. Each day is unique, as the light reacts with clouds and landscapes. Rainbows frequently add color to the distant mountains.
The sail starts with a short briefing and introduction, as we depart from Port Allen and head West, then North and upwind on the Na Pali, depending on conditions.
Meanwhile, the team of onboard chefs will get busy preparing the fresh meal. Unlike other charter boats, the catamarans are equipped with a full galley (kitchen) and bar. This means that the meal can be prepared fresh onboard, instead of the standard practice of precooking food.
On most days, the Hawaiian trade winds are blowing from the East, which makes for a perfect downwind sail, once we reach our turnaround point. the crew's objective on this sail is to position the boat for a calm, downwind sail during dinner service. Once we reach our turnaround, the crew will power down and hoist the massive mainsail and job. Now you're set up for some sailing, relaxing and yummy food.

Wildlife Refuge Kayak & Hidden Valley Falls Hike
Explore the best parts of Kauai, both in and out of the water. Paddle two miles down the Huleia Stream and through the Huleia National Wildlife Refuge, a natural habitat for rare and endangered Hawaiian water birds.
Cruise past Alekoko, or Menehune Fishpond, and around the base of the Haupu Mountain Range, a majestic 2,000-foot shield volcano.
Known for its lush greenery, Huleia has been the site of filming for a wide range of major motion pictures, including Indiana Jones and the Lost Ark and Lost World, the sequel to Jurassic Park. In fact, you'll get a chance to swing on the very same rope swing used by 'Indie' himself to escape from spear-throwing natives.
After tying up the kayaks, guests will enter Hidden Valley, a secluded and private watershed exclusively leased to Outfitters Kauai. Guests will be led through a pristine rain-forested valley, containing many different interesting communities of plants, birds and aquatic life — both native and introduced. We will stop along the way at waterfalls and swimming holes with rope swings. Rather than paddling back two miles into headwinds, guests will come aboard our twin-hulled, motorized Hawaiian canoe for the return trip to our dock.
This adventure puts emphasis on fun and interpretation of natural history, culture, folklore and legends.
