Golf

Against the backdrop of the Cheyenne Mountain foothills, The Broadmoor Golf Club is consistently ranked among the best in the world. Presidents, politicians, celebrities and many of the game’s greatest athletes have played at The Broadmoor.

The Annual CADA Golf Event takes place Thursday morning on the stunning West Course. A combination of the original 1918 Donald Ross design and the Robert Trent Jones, Sr. 1964 design, the West Course offers a very challenging and rewarding round of golf.

the pools

Sometimes, the only thing you want to do is lounge at the pool. The Broadmoor has a few of those.

The zero-entry to the infinity pool offers a refreshing escape from the world, with stunning views  of Cheyenne Lake and the mountains. Languish on the pool deck, or for a little excitement, check out one of the two water slides.

Located indoors, the luxurious Spa Pool has easy access to the Spa Café for that smoothie or light lunch.

The Lap pool and Whirlpool overlook The Broadmoor’s championship golf courses. Swim a few laps, then watch the golfers play through from the whirlpool.

Soaring Adventures

Looking for a little heart-racing action? You’ll find it in the form of a high-flying, zip line adventure at Seven Falls, located in the secluded South Cheyenne Canyon. There are 10 zip lines that range in distance from 300 to 1,800 feet, across some pretty spectacular scenery. You’ll also find moderate hiking, rope bridges and a controlled 180-foot rappel — and intensely personal stunning views of the waterfalls and canyon below.

Seven Falls

Not the lounge-by-the-pool type, but want to get out and walk? Seven Falls, ‘The Grandest Mile of Scenery in Colorado’ is located less than a mile from The Broadmoor resort, and it’s considered one of the Centennial state’s most captivating natural wonders. Take in stunning views of verdant valleys, striking rock formations and prairies as you climb the challenging 224 steps to the hiking trails and the streams that feed the Seven Falls — and it’s 180-foot drop of falling water.
