Xcel Energy is an industry leader when it comes to clean transportation goals and vision. Our service territory covers 8 states, and millions of customers. We have a stated goal of 1.5 Million electric vehicles on the roads in our territories by 2030 and a plan to get there. Join us for a conversation and overview of our efforts in Colorado to help power a clean energy future, work with our strategic partners and stake holders, Xcel Energy’s EV Dealership Network, our home charging program “Accelerate At Home”, and our commitment to meeting our shared customers at the dealership and much more.

About Peter

Xcel Energy has developed an industry-leading, 53-member (And Growing) EV Dealership Network in Colorado, Minnesota, Wisconsin and New Mexico to promote our at-home charging program,  Accelerate at Home, to our customers where most Americans buy their new car: The dealership.

We will be adding other states in our eight-state coverage territory in the near future. Our Network provides education, incentives, marketing, and dealer staff training to help eliminate barriers to EV Adoption by consumers.

Peter has been in the automotive field as a former dealership manager and auto sales consultant in the Twin Cities for a number of years.

He also has spent years overseeing dealership advertising campaigns for CBS Radio and Digital and has spent many decades in the broadcast industry overseeing advertising campaigns, live event development, sponsorships and on-air hosting.

He’s been married to Melissa for 27 years, and has two college-age boys.
